Areas of scientific interest:

• Identification and characterization of clinically most relevant allergenic structures in ragweed pollen. The information gained will be further applied to develop diagnostic test kits based on recombinant allergens and to improve the therapy of ragweed allergic patients using allergen-specific immunotherapy.
• The xenoestrogenic effects of Bisphenol A (an organic synthetic compound used for the manufacture of certain plastics and epoxy resins) on the fetal ovary development in mice and its influence on spermiogenesis and sperm quality of adult male mice.
